Fizil

While perhaps not the best person to answer high level questions since my Blood Mage is only 22, please ask away and I will answer any questions you have about the class as best I can.

I'll just preface everything by saying, yes the class is fun as hell to play, and very flexible when it comes to playstyle.

Suede

Hi,

Are the Symbiotes in the beta yet... and if so how do I find them.
Rituals, exactly what are they where do I learn them and how do I use them ?
Oh last but certainly not least how do I tell what level blood union I have when I am fighting a mob ?
Any tips or hints would be great.

Thanks

Suede

The only question I can answer is #3, the Blood Union. To the left of your offensive target's window there is a little blood-drop graphic with 5 blank dots around it. Red dot = Blood Union point. (Took me a good while to find it too)

Hello, I have been brousing everywhere
on many forums and I just can not find the answer to this question so hopefully you or someone here will. I am wanting to know how the Bloodmages fair in PvP.
I am a avid PvP'er and the class really has intrigued me since the first day i heard about it way back when. They if i had to guess sound like they would be very powerful in PvP but i may be wrong . Thank you.

Pallas

The symbiotes begin with using the skill/spell grim harvest on a mob. What you harvest depends on what effect you have on the mob while it’s cast i.e. union of blood, bursting cyst etc. (sorry I forget what yields what at the moment) will get you a still beating heart, quivering brain, twitching muscle were the three I found so far. From these you make your symbiotes in the crafting menu. The 1st two I got were a short duration charm and a cure disease/poison.

I'm planning on going with a gnome bloodmage. I've been reading up on the stats and my impression is that for a bloodmage the primary stats, in order of importance are:

INT
VIT
CON

Is this correct? Also, using the info I've found, it would appear I'll be able to gain +7 INT, +6 VIT, and +4 CON each level. Does that sound right? That's with putting as many points as it'll let me into INT and VIT and putting the rest into CON.

Also, it is said that VIT influences healing ability. Does that include the bloodmage drains and transfers? Granted, its not as important whether INT or VIT are more important since the above assumes I'm putting as many points into both as it'll let me, but I'm curious.

Also, will doing the above leave me with too little CON?
