Hi, I bought a staff (Staff of the Old World). But to use it; It says I need to sacrifice a Cloak of Pantheon. Now I don't know what or where to get this cloak...So I was wondering if anyone could help me out here by telling me how and where to get a Cloak of Pantheon and how to sacrifice it or whatever you do so that I can use my staff.Piku
The pass word to get into the pantheon is Nar'issk so you don't have to do the previous quests for it. However it is definately for a full group 30+ because most of the mobs in there are plain crazy 33+ 4-6 dotters. It is a long series of quests which is very time consuming but well worth the effort because once you finally get the prototype cloak and cap, you combine the two together to make the pantheon cloak.The cloak itself is actually quite nice but after the final boss fight you will be given an option by an NPC sitting on a pegesus to either keep the cloak or trade it in for your level 30+ Legendary weapon usable by your class. Only those who have sacrificed the cloak can use any weapon/item according to your class which requires the flag.
It is not easy, be expected to die a lot, unless of course your group is supreme, and also you may find your group having to redo it over and over again to really know where you're going.

One thing I'm wondering about this is, can you get another cloak?As I'm pretty sure I've seen people with both the cloak and the weapon which says you have to sacrifice the cloak...

well ran the Pantheon quest thru this weekend, went smoother then expected, and with the end Boss even more so ( tho we had three healers )One question, I messed up and missed the time frame to turn in the cloak, and I know the cloak grants protection from at least one of the special attacks put out by the sisters, some ppl have told the rest of the group I was running with last night that anyone NOT wearing the cloak will be killed off, how accurate is this ? is there a special attack the cloak will protect you from that you can not survive if you are not wearing it ? yes we had three healers, but no one fell once in the last fight ? just trying to weigh out convincing others to go, or just help build another full group to run thru it and help everyone in the 5-6 hours doing all the quests.

forgot to mention that in the sister fight we did do, the Bard and Bloodmage did NOT have the cloak, and everyone lived.

do you ahve to do the quest to get the password in order to start the quest line? or is that quest you get from the gnomes just to get you inside?And if you do not have to actualy do the gnome quest (which would be great since I am a DE and those damn gnomes really don't like me very much) where do I find the quests that get you started on the path to aquiring this cloak and said legendary wepons?

To answer a few questions. No prerequisite quests on the outside, although there are some nice rewards for some of them. The cloak quests are entirely held within the pantheon, so no worries there. The quest is indefinitely repeatable, so you can have the cloak and a weapon if you want. During the fight, it is possible that the sisters cast a spell that kills everyone in 5 seconds, unless they right click the cloak. So if you don't have the cloak, your sol. However, this is a rare event, I have seen it once in many runs, although the capability of your group would be a factor here.On a side note, be aware that you are not guaranteed to receive a red weapon, and even if you do, it might not be usable by your specific class. So, yes, there is a high gamble involved here, so be prepared for many runs of this event. Bearing the end results in mind, this is very understandable. Used to be even the soulbound stuff you might not be able to use, so you might end up with vendor junk. Enough whining has sadly fixed this.
