Currently I have just finished rewrought infineum armor quest and now the blacksmith at the shidreth mining company is telling me to collect scavenged armor and gems in order for him to make me armor peices. Now, the question I have is where do the gems drop? I heard they drop across the way at the infineum sanctuary off the big rock elementals but have not seen one drop yet. As for the scavenged armor, that can be bought on the exchange broker.

Anyone have any input? Thanks

Gems do drop off the humanoid mobs in the sanctuary. However, they are pretty rare. Took us about 4 hours last night to get 5 gems for our group.

With that said it's important to note that the Head, Chest and Leg pieces need the Org gem and those only drop on 30+ while all other armor pieces need the Gem of Energy (yellow I believe) and that drops off 29 and below. While hunting the gems you will also score plenty of infineum armor. Seems to drop 2x as much as gems as we got roughly 10 pieces last night.

Just my groups experiences. Good luck. Now we're trying to figure out what to do for The Ageless One.

So both gems drop off humanoids in the sanctuary? Have you ever heard or seen any drop off the rock elementals? Or is it just the humanoids?

Never seen one drop from the ele's but we primarily farmed the humanoids as thats what we were told dropped them. However I will say we did get a gem last night off the little floating ghost skull (or whatever it is) so I guess it is feasible anything can drop them. But I can tell you from our experiences that the 30+ drop org gem and 29 below drop yellow energy gem

I took your advice and killed humanoids and we did indeed get gems of energy and scavenged armor peices. Also as a side note we got two of the greater fire gem things from the big infineum rock creatures that are 30+. So it seems the general rule is...kill everything. We also got two kronus keys from the gnomes/golem groups.

I have one more question though. So I am not a blacksmith, i talked to the blacksmith quest giver to make my first peice, he made it and then I got the next and final quest "The Ageless One". But now I have some more armor peices to make and the blacksmith isn't offering me his services anymore

Do I have to contact a blacksmith player to finish the rest of my peices?
