The offensive caster is the main artillery of a group or raid. They launch massive strikes of amazing damage from a distance and hope that no one even looks in their general direction. If they are attacked by anything physically or magically, it is best that either a protective fighter jumps in the way quickly, a heal is incoming in a hurry, or ,preferrably, both!
Your group has wandered into an old haunted mansion, where you plan to hunt a few named foes that drop some nice items supposedly. While there, you get into a rough situation in a T-Section. There is a small group of three charging in from the right, two guards and a named enemy coming down the hall from the left. To best assist your group, what is your plan of action?
I quickly buff everyone in the group with a damage shield, and cast a few root spells to try and stop the enemies from approaching some. I assist the main tank in killing his target by casting some spells that damage over time. While doing that, I keep an eye on the group's healer to see if they need any assistance, if they do then I help heal the group as much as possible.
