Do we know any details about/if there is fletching ? Having a fine bow you crafted or gotten in a good fight is key to a fun ranger.Blackmyst
I have asked the question on another site and gotten a bit of a different answer, that implied there would be some arrow fletching. Frankly if Stigil thinks so little of the ranger class that rangers cannot even craft arrows(something I had in UO since day one 10 years ago when I had to kill birds, chop trees then craft both), I won't dignify what they try to pass as a ranger with a ranger character of mine.Blackmyst
Arrow crafting is in the game in a VERY minimal form. No advanced arrow making, even though vendors sell superior arrows.Rouitine arrow making is,and continues to be broken and a macro can me used to make poor quality arrows.Comet
Whilst i can see your point, I don't agree with it, rangers are not ment to be goddly at crafting arrows, their ment to be able to craft them in a pinch, or when they need to, but ideally see a merchant for the best ones they can, be that NPC or Player. The arrows could be worse, they could just randomly generate 100% of the time. I'd like to see a bag (technical term evades me) that is filled with arrows, that goes down as you fight, but that's really unlikely (do a raid, take a hundred arrows or something, you'd have a huge bag :P).

Well we have a different vision of what a ranger should be.Too bad the character development isn't more open ended, so that Brad's vision of giving player's the freedom to do what they want to do can be truely achieved.Players would earn training points that could be applied to a menue of skills/abilitys, so you could shape your character to fit YOUR vision...want a more archer type..you can have it..want a balanced mele/archer...you can have it...want a more mele type..you can have it.Would create a more diverse range of all classes.
