19.1.1. Will player cities use special plots, or will it start from a pack of closely built houses?
Both. When we implement player cities, certain buildings will require special plots, but those plots will be placed in and around regular housing plots. For example, town halls, guild halls, shared crafting areas, and much more.

19.2. Construction
To begin construction, go to the construction tab on the UI and select which house to build. For a list of houses available for each continent, see the list below. I will try and post some screen shots of each house and add them here.
Once you begin construction, the stone marker will be replaced with an “under-construction” house model. You can access the construction menu by right clicking on the “under-construction” model. The construction UI displays a list of building materials required to complete construction and the quantity of grade A items required. NOTE: Lower grade items may be used, but a higher quantity will be required. Most of the required items are crafted with the Mineralogist, a type of Artificer, as the primary crafted. Some items are purchased from house vendors who are found in most player housing chunks.
The recipes for the crafted items are either trained from a normal trainer or obtained by completing quests. The quests are available to crafters at level 20, 30 and 40.
Resources for the crafters are obtained from harvesting. You are more likely to get a crafted to help you if you are providing the resources.
Tier 3 materials are required for the One Story homes.
Tier 4 materials are required for the Two Story homes.
Tier 5 materials are required for the Two Story Plus homes. These houses require level 40+ crafters.
Bricks and Cornerstone are made by Mineralogists
Panels and Beams are made by any Artificer (Carpenter or Mineralogist)
Fasteners are made by Blacksmiths
Thatch is made by Outfitters
Kojani Window Coverings are made by Outfitters
