Getting to southwatch shouldn't be too hard. As long as you stay on the road you should be fine.
To get to south watch go south from 3 rivers, like your goign to new tarangor, instead of turning left to continue to new tarangor, go straight on the dirt road. Once you get to Southwatch liliam is in the house behind the General Goods Vendor. (Side Note: Liliam has the quest you need to do, for some reason the quest comes up whether you complete this one or not, bugged? Had same exact quest name?maybe this is why we can't do our extra figurehead?)

Travel north from southwatch along the road that goes north and east. This area has several lvl 36+ mobs that will kill you, so get invis from a bard. There's another way in, but i have yet to use it. I have a bard friend, and i just have her help me, easier than going all the way around, imho. Once you get to a cross roads, take the right path. Follow this all the way until you go into a tunnel. Keep following the tunnel until you get to another crossroads, you can go right or left again, take the left path. You should come to a lift, take the lift down and continue down the hall until you come to two halls. Take the left hall, and follow it around the two turns, on the left will be the Hall of Creation. Go into the Hall of Creation and Carind Seaforge will be at the back. You could also just ask a guard for directions to a crafting trainer, and he will put the location on your map.

Faction Required: 500 (this is the faction you get when you turn in work orders)
The Quest giver (forget name? someone remember?) is north of tursh. If you follow the road north from tursh, you'll see a sign post that points left to "Danger!". Note, that there is nothing dangerous unless you go really really far west. Take the left, and follow the road until (if you have levitate or feel lucky, just jump down the mountain, you'll see the docks) you reach another sign post. Keep following the road (sign post also points straight ahead, but there is no road). Eventually you'll get to a house, take a sharp right. You should cross a chunk almost immediatly. Keep going east until you get to the docks.

When you get to Halgarad, go in to the first sign post, and follow the road the direction that says "Dahknarg" and "Halgarad". At the next sign post, you'll veer right a little bit, to go in the direction labeled "Darhknarg". Keep following the path until you pass through another gate like thing, and get to a huge sign post, take a right, which should be going to "Central Halgarad". Keep following this for a while, until you eventually get to another sign post that labels going left to "Artisan Way". Take this left, and go into the second buildnig on the left. Kaljourn Hett is in the back left corner.

You need to talk to kelly silver. Kelly Silver is south of 3 rivers. Head south from 3 rivers
like you are going to New Tarangor, you should be on a dirt road. After you've been following the road for a while, you should see a sign post that has a left pointer to "Keldorins Wall". Take this left, if you get to the "gravel" (some kind of stone road?) then you've gone just a little bit to far. Along this road are some lvl 22 to 23 mobs. They may be higher/lower depending on who's killed them recently. I had no problem avoiding them, but if you want to be safe, you might want to bring along a bard. Follow this dirt road until you get to two farm houses. At these houses the road kind of "disappears", go towards the windmill that should be across the way. Once you get to the windmill, you should see the road appear again. Follow this road all the way to the next two farm houses (there will be a right hand turn along the way, do not take it). Kelly Silver is in the farmhouse with the guy standing outside.

Well, i figured it might be nice to have a complete guide on all of the quests, with a materials list for the quest and then the real ship. I've completed the sloop quest and guide, and i should be done with the caravel quest and guide within the next few days. I haven't put the guides into pdf format yet, but i'll try to do that soon also. I've attached the .txt files for each for now. Each quest will be in a different post (i've reserved enough spots for each quest).
Also, i'd like to thank Pinyon and Nation for the help with the blacksmith and outfitter materials. And the random posts on this forum that led me to the starting of the quests.

There is no way the faction is 1500 for sloops. It is just 500 Faction to learn the sloops of the continent. 2000 for Caravels.
