Glade Basilisk Gazer

Protected by a thick coat of armor-like scales, the basilisk holds itself close to the ground, patiently watching its surroundings. Its four legs are built for strength, rather than speed -- although it is quite capable of short distance sprints. The basilisk’s primary means of attack are its strong bite and tail, which it uses in a whip like manner against its opponents. It has also been said, that staring directly into the creatures eyes freeze’s one’s muscles, rending one unable to move.
