* Thormane Ragnuthson is located at (53146, 6958, 55253) just Northeast of Halgarad. * Rothnar Morfang is located at (11781, 26602, 51943) behind the The Stone Mug Tavern in Halgarad. * Boritt is inside the house across from The Stone Mug, at (13605, 17848, 51805) * After the parley, retrieve the Seal of Torson from the jug on the table next to Boritt.

Quest Offering "Hail, <PlayerName>, "Hrognar yells. "This old man has something that needs doing." Sighing, Hrognar continues, "Old age has bent me low and left me unable to finally retrieve my clan's seal. The blood of the Torson clan calls for the ancient symbol's return, and though the task has fallen to me, I can't finish. Thormane Ragnuthson took the item from my father 50 years ago. Would you be able to oblige a man too long in the tooth and find it for me? I saw him last at the mark I'll put in your journal." Thormane Ragnuthson You say, "Thormane, I am looking for the Seal of Torson." "The Seal of What, now?" The hoary Thormane sizes you up. "The Torson Clan's seal," you huff. "You took it many years ago from Hrognar's father." Thormane smirks, saying, "Yes, I do remember taking the seal from that old goat. He didn't hold on to it very well." "Then where is it?" you ask. "Why should I give it to a whelp liek you? One who did not earn it?" Thormane's grin sinks. Watching his eyes, it dawns on you. "You do not have it anymore, do you?" "My, aren't you the impudent one! Where did you learn those manners?" Thormane's eye begins to twitch. "So, old man, how did you lose the item? Be quick about it. The stain on your honor will only get worse. Do it not for the Torson Clan, but for the varanjar people." Thormane lowers his eyes, "I did lose it. My old age has left me nothing but debt and heartburn. I used it to pay a debt to a gambler." "Old age has not treated you well, Thormane, but tell me who has it now so you may at least count some small honor," you say. "You are wise beyond even my years," Thormane whispers. "I gave it to Rothnar Morfang. Let me show you where he is in your journal." Rothnar Morfang The stench of liquor assualts you from Rothnar as you approach. Catching on, you say, "I understand you like a good drink and a good game." Rothnar struggles to focus on your eyes, mumbling, "Yesh." "Do you know where one might find a strong drink and some games?" you ask. "I could," he paused to hiccup, "show you now." "Actually," you stop him short, "I'm on an important errand right now." "Really?" He focuses closer on your face. "Absolutely. I'm looking for a particular item," you say. "What?" He belches. "What are you looking for?" "You've probably never heard of it. I won't bother you with the details." You pretend to turn away. "No no, I know many things around these parts. I could help you, if you could spare some copper for a drink." "Well," you say, "I guess you might. I'm looking for the Seal of Torson." Rothnar glares at you, saying, "Thormane sent you, didn't he? I kew he would try and steal that thing back. Well, you can tell him that I don't have it." Feigning ignorance, you say, "No, no, actually. Thormane didn't send me your way at all. Someone else sent me on this errand. I might be able to hand over the copper if you could tell me where it is." "Thormane didn't send you then? Well, how much copper are you willing to give?" "I can buy you two drinks and a meal," you say, "if you tell me whom you gave it to." "Truly? Well, you look like a trustworthy one, and I pride myself a good judge of character." Close-lipped, you give him a small nod. Rothnar smiles, "I gave it to the lesser giant Boritt. He said he needed it for something." "Thank you Rothnar," you grin. "Why don't you head over to the inn and I'll be over in a bit." "Oh," Rothnar calls after you, "Boritt doesn't like random people barging into his house." Boritt "Boritt, sir," you call out, "I must speak to you about certain matters." Boritt furrows his brow at you, asking, "What matters would these be?" "Matters of blood, family blood to be more clear, you say. "You must understand the importance of family." "Of course I do," Boritt perks up, "but why would I speak to someone like you about these matters?" "So we are to resort to the insults already then, eh?" you say. "Get to the point quickly, small one, I have my own matters to attend to right now." "Alright then," you glower at him. "Where is the Seal of Torson? I know you have it." Boritt perks up, surprised. He jerks his eyes, avoid your gaze. "Out with it. I need answers, and you are in a hurry, remember," you say, raising your voice. "I," he begins, "what are you talking about?" He jerks his eyes left again. "You know exactly what I'm talking about. The Seal of the Torson clan Rothnar Morfang gave to you. Where is it?" Boritt looks at the floor, avoiding looking to the left. "I don't know what your talking about, really. I don't have that blasted eye patch." "Eye patch!" you exclaim. "So the seal is an eye patch? How did you know?" Catching on, you look at the table. "No, no. I don't have that thing. I, uh, gave it away," Boritt says. You follow his eyes this time. "That," you sigh, "is plenty more than I need. Thank you." "I was just hoping," Boritt explains, "the thing would get me futher in my deals. No one seems to want the blasted thing though. Except you. Just...just take it." Quest Completion "Thank your retrieving this for my clan," Hrognar smiles. "Before, when the clans were still at war, Thormane killed my father on the field and took his seal. Now that there's peace, I couldn't approach him myself, it would have been...improper." "Now that life ebbs from my bones and time wanes, my days seem shorter. Since Thormane stole, yes, stole this item from my father in battle the Torson clan has seen only dark days. Though I may not see many bright ones ahead, the last of my family will. Thormane will get what is due to him in the next world, of that I am sure. Our rivalries do not die easily, but the push and pull of our new kingdom makes it difficult to even seek reconciliation openly. Take one of these as thanks for your assistance."
