"I have a little challenge for you. Arilthor, the heavy melee instructor, has a pair of swords that he has been dual wielding for years - Windcaller and Flamereaver. They're incredibly finely made and, well, sentient. Unfortunately for Arilthor, they have had some sort of disagreement recently and refuse to fight together anymore."
