"Halgarad has many enemies at its gates," Mishka says. "However, the Trenkov farm was well inside our walls. It is entirely possible that something has happened, but I seriously doubt it. I overheard Vashya this morning talking with someone, maybe himself, about a shadow he saw out there. I want you to go take a look." "There shouldn't be any danger, Mehhem," Mishka continues. "I believe Trenkov is just being more reclusive than normal, but go out there and talk with Vashya's shadow anyway."
