Speak with Sharas Kamur to obtain the quest. Travel to the Wamtin Docks (Foreign Quarter) and Interview Port Trademaster, Alison McTane, about "The Dismantling of Vayers". Travel to the center of New Targonor and find the bookseller building next to the arch leading to House Heartsworn. Interview Luccan Bell, the Bookseller about "The Dismantling of Vayers". Travel to the Foreign Goods Market (New Horizons' Trading Group) and enter the Merchant's Daughter tavern. Inside on the bottom floor, you will Interview Geoffery Wallsten about "The Dismantling of Vayers". Return to Sharas Kamur to complete the quest.

Quest Offering Sharas consults a notebook she's carrying. "We're going to have to find a chink in Vayer's armor. Figuratively. If we make a move to arrest him at this time, then that may scare off Senshir. I have a list of contacts here I want you to speak to. See what you can learn about him. I'm here to find out if you heard anything about a man named Commander Vayers or the Gray Knights. He should have come into New Targonor not too long ago out of Ahgram." Alison sighs and shakes her head. "What? Did he make you want to strangle him too? It's a shame a man that good-looking has to have such a horrid attitude." "I see he left an impression on you," you say with a chuckle. "I don't even want to get into it," she mutters, though seems to enjoy complaining about him as she continues. Alison jabs a finger at you. "The unbearable fool demanded that his fare be cut because the ride was 'too rough'. To me, as if I have any control over that." "Then I had to listen to him complain about how he's not happy with how his little organization is being run, or what have you," she rants. "Something about teaching someone a lesson for humiliating him." "Really, that's interesting. Anything else?" you ask. "No, not really. "The man called Commander Vayers and his associate, whose name I did not catch, were having a heated discussion in here earlier today," Luccan begins. "Interesting. I must have just missed them," you say, glancing over your shoulder. Luccan nods. "I believe I mentioned to you they've been in here looking for information on the Cartheon Empire. Well, this conversation seemed ... personal." You ponder this. "What did they say?" "Commander Vayers seemed upset with his employer, it seems. I'm not sure why, but the Commander was vocal about his displeasure with a woman named Senshir, and his companion tried to calm him down," Luccan says, arms folded across his chest as he thinks back. "That is good information, Luccan, thank you," you say, inclining your head to him. "Really? Well, I am glad it helps!" he says brightly. "Indeed. Take care of yourself," you say as you prepare to depart. Geoffery Wallsten You give a wave of your hand in greeting to Geoffery. "How is my favorite rumormonger doing today?" Geoffery grins. "No complaints, friend. I take it you need some more information?" You nod. "As astute as always. Tell me, what do you know of Commander Vayers?" The rumormonger looks thoughtful. "The well-dressed gentleman? Aye, I know a few things." "I'll take rumors and facts both," you reply. He chuckles. "It seems Vayers doesn't know when to keep quiet. I've heard some of those Gray Knights know about his arguments with the Lady Senshir due to some botched secret meeting." You smile a little. "Botched secret meeting, eh?" "I have no information on what exactly that meeting was about, all I know is that there is a definite rift in the leadership with those Gray Knight types," Geoffery replies cheerfully. You nod. "That's good to hear. I'll have to follow up on this. Thank you." "Safe travels, (your name) ," Geoffery says with a grin. Quest Completion Sharas grins slightly. "Excellent. So Vayers is feeling brave enough to take on Senshir. This is going to be easier than I thought," she says as you finish your report. Sharas hands you a rolled up scroll and some money. "I already know what we will be doing next. Take this. It should make things easier for you."
