"Don't know her," says Donya smugly. "Maybe because she is dead," you say. "Oh, ya, must be that," says Donya, flipping her hair back. "Wait, Sabine? Skinny little thing who showed up on the streets a few weeks back?" You nod and say, "And was killed not long after." "She didn't seem like she was tough enough for this life," says Donya. "Sad, but a fact of this life." "Why would someone have reason to kill her?" you ask. "Maybe because she stepped on someone's territory?" asks Donya. "How would she have stepped on someone else's territory?" you ask. "She was pretty enough." says Donya, Shrugging. "Might have caught the wrong person's eye." "You mean Karim's?" you ask. "What?" demands Donya, staring at you with wide eyes. "Like Karim," you say. "I hear he is your associate." Donya stares at you quietly. "What do you know about that?" she asks. "That the two of you are associated," you say, "and that they were as well. He tried to bring her under his employ, but she refused." Donya narrows her eyes at you. "Where did you hear about this?" she asks. "I have heard that Karim is turning the blame on you," you say. "You killed her out of jealousy." "What?" she demands, "That rat!" "He ordered me to kill her!" she says. "He threatened to stop taking care of me!" You notice her eyes filling with tears. "I would have starved!" "You don't know what it's like out here!" she says, the tears rolling out of her eyes. "Karim wanted her dead! Not me! She refused him! He was the one who wanted her dead!" "Confess," you say. "Tell them Karim's full role, and I am sure they will be lenient." "Okay," she says, "okay, okay. I'll do it." (You receive Donya's Confession) Jaluna Fenn "You say, "Jaluna Fenn, I have information about your sister's death." Jaluna grows very still and gazes at you. "Oh?" she asks. "You mean Sabine? The traitor?" "She may have married the wrong man," you say, "but she was still your sister." Jaluna Fenn narrows her eyes and says, "What information do you have?" "A confession from Beggar Donya," you say. "Who killed her under the orders of Karim Sabet." "Karim Sabet?" asks Jaluna. "The arms dealer?" You nod and say, "She refused to become part of his ring." Jaluna looks down for a moment and then back up at you. "Why should I believe this?” she asks, gesturing to the paper. "Because you know he is a murderer," you say. "Only this time it was your sister," you say. "If nothing else compels you to act, that will." Jaluna nods and says, "May I have that?" You pass it over to her. She studies the confession. You notice the edge of the paper crumple in her hand. She says, "I will see him behind bars. I will see him rot there. He will understand my anger and my hurt." She looks at you eyes dark and full of anger - and pain. "Thank you, Chantillary,” she says. Quest Completion Rahebjeh nods and says, “And now I have betrayed my brother, but the family will pass on to me, and we will not be under the thumb of Jaluna Fenn anymore.” Rahebjeh laughs lightly to herself and says, “I try to remember my brother as a pudgy young boy who spent more time reading in my father’s chair than out playing with other children... who had an insatiable curiosity and a good heart.” She sighs and says, “But he is a [sic] not that boy anymore. He is a murderer. He deserves to be in prison.” She smiles and shakes her head. “I still cannot help but feel I have betrayed that boy.”
