Learning The Truth

1. You can't handle the truth! Dakren Flamehammer finally trusts you enough to tell you about the real reason why the dwarves have been sent here. Unfortunately he can't simply tell you with words, you will have to see it for your own eyes. When you were gone killing the ogre, Dakren was off finding the rock barrier that blocks the entrance to the deepest part of this city. He will give you an amulet that will dissolve the barrier, allowing you and your party to pass through. Dakren will meet you on the other side in the Royal Chamber that is deep beyond the barrier. Find him there and he will finally reveal the truth to you. So off you go back down the steps towards the ogres. But this time when you make it out to the first open room, make a right and you will see a pile of rocks blocking your way (with a dwarf standing on the left of it that has nothing to do with this questline). If you right click the rock barrier, it will dissolve just like Dakren told you it would. On the opposite side of the barrier you will find dead ghost dwarves (*shock*). This area works like a big circle. You need to make it to the Royal Chambers, which is on the other side of the circle that you are currently on. You will need to kill the ghost dwarves and make your way through to the other side. The dwarves will be level 37 - 38 4dot mobs. You will notice that they will be dropping Mithril Shards. You will need 7 of these for the next quest that you do not currently have. Make your way to the Royal Chambers (use Location Map if confused) where you will find a large empty room with 2 dwarves standing at the other end. One of these dwarves will be Dakren Flamehammer, the other dwarf will be the ghost of non-other than Dargun Thunderaxe! Hand in your quest to Dakren and learn the truth! 2. Unite the Hammers! Now that you have learned the truth about why Dakren has been sent (no! I'm not telling you. You will have to just do this quest yourself!), talk to Dargun Thunderaxe. He will inform you that he needs his old hammer that has been shattered into a million pieces (well more like 7 shards and a hilt, head, and handle). He will need you to find all these pieces and return them to him so he can use it to forge the Hammer of Unity! So off you go on your search of the hammer pieces and shards. The Shards will drop randomly off of any dwarf you kill. A total of 7 pieces will be needed for this quest. The Handle will drop off of Beltok Goldsmith, and he will be located in the room just outside of the Royal Chambers. One handle will drop for each member of the group (provided that everyone is on this part of the quest). The Head will drop off of Temvar Runeaxe. He will be located at the far east of the dwarf area down some steps (chech location map for exact location). Again, one will drop for each member on the quest. Lastly you will need the Hilt, which can drop off of Ventor Brightstone, who is located on the far west of the dwarf area (opposite mirrored location of Temvar Runaxe's location). Now there are some names that randomly spawn throughout the dwarven area. They are named Mortil Runeaxe, Durnis Brightstone, and Selmak Goldsmith. Each one of these names also have a chance to drop either the handle, hilt, or head. In our situation, Ventor was not dropping the Hilt, so we found Selmak and Mortil who were kind enough to give it up to us. So now that each member of your group has all the pieces of the hammer needed, head back to Dargun Thunderaxe with all the pieces and turn them in. NOTE: Do Not Accept the next quest! Doing so will result in starting an event that you may not be ready for.
