Quest Offering "Meet me back at the Hall of Glyphs, in the Hallway of Orbs!" Says Mog, rubbing his hands together eagerly. Mog "Mog!" you say. "Here you are!" "Here I am indeed!" says Mog. "Though I won't claim I came straight here..." "Oh?" you ask. "How is that?" "Well," he says, "I got a slight stage fright and ended up in a town full of short humans, or well, they must have been 'halflings' - or dalefolk as they like to call themselves. They seemed very surprised to see me." "I didn't give them time to think about it though," he says. "I calmed down a bit and tried again for here. Fortunately that time, I got my mark." He lets out a sigh of relief. "So what does this mean?" you ask. "This means that I give you this crystal," he says. "So you can use it to achieve our people's ends." "Me?" you ask. "Well, yes, you," he says. "This is your game, <playername>. Make your move!" "I may need to call on you to make a demonstration," you say. "To the elven council." "I don't trust myself to go through the same trials you did," you say warily. "There's too much at stake here, and we need to move quickly." "Fair enough," says Mog. "I don't think you should try it either. At least, no now. It is quite the journey." "For now, I'll take this to the Elders and see what they have to say," you say. Mog says, "Just call on me when you need me!" Quest Completion Elder Sal marvels at the crystal in her hand. "You say this little crystal can do all that?" she asks. "My, my," she says, shaking her head, "but isn't that impressive... This is a very powerful thing we hold here. Of course, the wood elves hold even more of it, and who knows how much more there is out there in the world. I wonder how much..." "But, my oh my, isn't it a lovely thing? Let me hold onto it for now." "Here, this Rod will mark you as a keen pursuer of knowledge," says Elder Sal proudly. "Equip it, and it will announce your presence to all you encounter."
