"Well, yeah," says Miner Orehammer, "most of us are just looking to help the Cleft and earn some coin." "Then what are we afraid of?" you ask. "We're bigger than them, and probably tougher too." Miner Orehammer chuckles and shakes his head. "You got some backbone, I'll give you that..." he says. "So what'll it be, then?" you ask. "All right," he says, "someone's gotta be the first to start this. I won't swing my pick until we get back to work on that!" Miner Krolmn You say, "Ho there, Miner Krolmn, you got a minute to talk?" Miner Krolmn peers at you and asks, "What about?" "About the statue of Alurad," you say confidentially, "and how you're going to help us get it unearthed by refusing to mine until Boss Thunderaxe caves in." Miner Krolmn's expression shifts slightly. "Why would I do that?" you ask. You are a little taken aback. "Alurad is gravely offended," you explain, certain he needs to be educated, "we cannot afford to lose him on our side." "Alurad's not the only god," grunts Miner Krolmn. "He will not win or lose this battle for us." You protest, "He has always supported us in the past." "I just don't think he will win or lose this battle for us," mutters Miner Krolmn. "You don't think it's even worth digging up the statue on the chance?" you ask. "What exactly are you saying we should do?" asks Miner krolmn. "Refuse to mine until Boss Thunderaxe lets up on her prohibition," you say. "Show her we mean business." "If enough miners join in, she'll have to listen," you say. "Has anyone else agreed?" Miner Krolmn asks. "Miner Orehammer's already put his pick down," you say. "Orehammer, you say?" asks Miner Krolmn with an odd glint in his eye. Miner Orehammer "Aye that'll show you!" shouts Orehammer at the men who had attacked him. "Orehammer!" you say. "That was quite the brawl!" "Those shaletooths think they can best me," mutters Orehammer, "but there's more than just mining in my past. I have the best pairs of fists in Bordinar's Cleft... or, I did." "What did they want with you?" you ask. "Them's the ones I told you about," he says, still glaring fiercely into the distance. "The one's that side with Boss Thunderaxe." "Miner Krolmn must be one of them," you say. "And as soon as I'm done with you here," he says, ""I plan on finding his shale-ridden hide and finishing him too." "Even if it means I'll have more of them on me later," he says. "I have buddies too, you know." You think to yourself, "And this is how it starts." You say, "This is going to divide the mine up pretty well?" Miner Orehammer presses his lips together and shrugs, saying, "Maybe so. A fight's been coming for a long time though." "This is just the last blow of the pick," he says. "I regret being the one to make sure that blow was struck," you say. "Don't be," says Miner Orehammer. "It needs to happen. Steam needs to be let out." "But what happens to operations in that time?" you ask. Miner Orehammer looks at you and shrugs. "We'll see that, won't we?" he asks. "Bet you anything it won't please Boss Thunderaxe though." Quest Completion Krellan says, "There was a brawl? Well, at least Orehammer came out on top... But it's a shame this looks like it's set to explode." Krellan marvels, "What times are these when dwarf fights dwarf? We need to be fighting together, but this divide is threatening to tear us in two." He mutters, "Damn those Thunderaxes, stirring up trouble at just the wrong time."
