Scouting the Keep - Part 2

Retireve Lieutenant Ararond's notes from within the first main corridor of Trengal Keep. Return them to Ararond at the ruins of an outpost just north of Trengal Keep.

Lieutenant Ararond's Journal is located in the second story of a ruined building of the left of low wall entering from the North East. loc= -16813, -6899, 43134 Lieutenant Ararond says, "My report? Oh! I nearly forgot. Captain Morrond must be furious. I was supposed to deliver my report weeks ago, but I just can't bring myself to return to Trengal Watch." "You see, I've lost my notes. They must be somewhere not too deep in the Keep." "Be careful if you go in there, though. The Gulgrethor cut through us in moments." The notes are in the small courtyard at the end of the long corridor right at the beginning of the Keep (where the mobs go from being three dots to four dots). Coming into the area, stay to the left side. After the watch tower, there are some ruins that you can climb up. The notes look like a small brown book on the second floor of these ruins (loc: -16813, -6899, 43134). Most of these mobs don't see invis, but the Entity of Koth Teros does. Also, there are stealth mobs here much like in the rest of the keep, so be careful if you plan to invis your way to the notes. After retrieving the notes, return to Ararond. Lieutenant Ararond says, "You found my notes!" "Now I can finish my report and get it to Captain Morrond." "He underestimated the amount of elves it would take to scout the Keep, so everyone he sent with me was slain. All but me, the coward who ran." "It's time I faced the truth."
