Quest Offering "I have an idea," you say. "I have a bit of an understanding with one of the Wardens, Zephira Wolveskin. I may be able to convince her to take up this cause." "I've heard about the Warden of the Wind," says Cho Moonflower, "and her openness. It has been my hope to get through to her specifically, but the Wardens have been all but unreachable. Return to me with her verdict." "I should be able to reach her," you say, "and, hopefully, convince her to allow you an audience." Zephiria "Warden Wolveskin," you say, "I humbly seek another audience." Zephiria glances you up and down. "Well!" she says merrily. "You sound a little more cofident in your words than when we spoke last." "I've had a little practice," you say. "Good," says Zephiria, "because it's quite the task you've put before yourself. Now, what can I do for you?" "I am here on behalf of the Emissaries from Tanvu," you say. "They have been waiting some time for an audience." "Emissaries from Tanvu?" asks Zephiria with a frown. "You say there are Emissaries from Tanvu here?" "Yes," you say, "they have been waiting in the Inn for the past few days. You haven't heard of this?" "I most certainly have not," says Zephiria, voice hard and all traces of humor wiped from her face. "Well," you say, "they're here seeking the aid of Ca'ial Brael, and they asked me to come speak on their behalf." "You must have impressed them," says Zephiria. "The Tanvu humans are perhaps the only more strictly regulated meritocracy than our own." "I like to think I was able to communicate with them effectively," you say. Zephiria chuckles briefly. "Yes, that's probably true," she says wearily. Her faces darkens. "Iona told us nothing of this," she says, "though she must know." "Is there anything to be done about it?" you ask. "I do not know quite what at the moment," says Zephiria, "but I assure you I will do something." "Good," you say, "I'll carry word of that back to the Emissaries." Zephiria nods to you briskly and then looks lost in contemplation. Quest Completion Cho Moonflower nods distantly as you relate your partial success. "From what I've heard of Zephiria," she says, "I trust that it will get done." "Thank you for your assistance," says Cho. "Here, take these, and whenever you have need of us, feel free to call on us. If we do get our audience, we will also stress how delighted we were that you were the first to speak to us, and that it was a young raki who kept the good faith of Tanvu toward Ca'ial Brael."
