The redcaps seem to be brewing something very strange. Whatever it is they have in the dark upright brew vats, it should probably be tested by a professional.

Objectives

To take brew samples, visit each of the dark-colored upright vats in the room where the stein was found. Description

The redcaps seem to be brewing something very strange. Whatever it is they have in the dark upright brew vats, it should probably be tested by a professional. Perhaps if samples were taken from each of the dark-colored upright vats in the room where the stein was found, they could then be analyzed by Novice Richard, a potion specialist at the Tursh Academy dormitory. This stein would make a good holder for the brew samples.

Notes

To take brew samples, visit each of the dark-colored upright vats in the room where the stein was found. The stein is a clickable item on a ledge on the SW wall of the ground floor of the first large room in Rindol Storehouse.

Quest Steps

Step 1 - Get Quest

This quest is received from an object in the dungeon. In the entry room, work your way around the left side of the room until you reach the elevator. Take the elevator down. Just to your left will be a few platforms with large vats of liquid on them. Beneath one of the platforms, against the wall, is a small bench. On the ground next to that bench is a right-clickable beer stein. Click it to loot it and then right-click it in your inventory to get the quest.

Step 2 - Take Samples From the Four Vats

This is the tricky part as some aspects of this are broken. The vats are located on both sides of the dividing wall in the center of the room. There are more than four vats but you need samples from four specific ones. We found that two of the 3 vats right next to the stein counted for the sample, the vat in the corner nearby counted, and one of the vats on the other side of the wall made the fourth.

Step 3 - Visit Novice Richard

Run to the Tursh Academy dormitories and talk to Novice Richard to turn in the quest
