Tuatiren Occupancy

Go to the Gauthek tuatiren caverns to the northwest of the West Angoer Bunker. Kill Gauthek broodlords, elders, and defenders, and seek clues that will reveal what they're doing in the caves. Return to Emil Pager at the Bunker.

The Gauthek cave is in the Ksaravi Gulch chunk. Emil explains, "I have been unable to spy in the two caves set into the cliffs to the northwest of here." "Since you're a good sturdy adventurer, I need you to infiltrate the caves and seek clues about whatever the tuatiren are doing - probably sacrificing people." "I'll mark the two cave entrances on your map for you, yes, you'll have no trouble finding them. Once you get inside, seek Gauthek broodlords, elders, and defenders." "Kill them, and search for evidence." The caves are the same difficulty as the town. The evidence comes in two forms: Broken Ksaravi Pottery and Torn Ksaravi Banner. You can pick up any number of each of them to get the 5 needed. Emil says, "Fascinating, just look at these Ksaravi artifacts." "They're fairly recent, too. Yes, it's clear that Ksaravi were living in those caves less than five years ago." (continues) Emil says, "Now, see how damaged these items are? There's old dried blood on them, too." "I think the Gauthek pushed the Ksaravi out of their homes, and I think they must have done it with violence. Yes, I think it's clear that the tuatiren forced the Ksaravi out of their caves." "I will have to examine these clues further. Perhaps the Ksaravi appearance in the Ksaravi Gulch coincides with when they were extirpated from their caves here."
