This appears on many dungeon lists as Azbaji Hive. Either this was its name in Beta or one guy misspelled it on his dungeon list and every other site faithfully cut and pasted it for their own lists.

We won't get too nit-pickey about what this is actually a hive of. They look like wasps, they act like wasps, they make honey like bees. Behold the Azebaj.

And there are a LOT of them. You will be hard pressed to take more than a step or two in the Hive without having to smack your way through another cloud of mobs. Proceed carefully and clear everything as you go. The Azebaj wander a lot and skipping some will inevitably mean that they will buzz up to your next fight to add to the fun. To add a bit of variety you'll start running into hostile globs of honey as you get to the back half of the dungeon.

As far as the ambience goes, this is essentially a cave with bee themed decorations. However, the constant buzzing and the swarms of enemies do a pretty convincing job of making the place feel right.

Layout is pretty straightforward. There are a few ramps leading to small upper areas and one intersection with a tunnel that is pretty easy to miss on the way in but simple to spot on the way out.

The quests are appropriate if a little dull but inspiration for quests involving a beehive can be understandably a bit lacking. Quest rewards are very well thought out, obviously chosen with the notion that this is the first group dungeon that gnome players will typically encounter. Completing all of the quests here will deck you out in an almost complete new set of gear and weapons, all of them a bit on the sticky side, perhaps. Itemization is decent with both Hive specific drops making an appearance as well as a few "generic" Rares and Uncommons.

Azebaj is a nice introduction to group dungeons for characters in Qa Riverbank. The variety of quest rewards and the amount of experience available from the scores of Azebaj make this a particularly solid entry in the low teens dungeons. The first half of the hive can be handled with care by a solo character. The second half will at least need a small group and the toughest of mobs in here will likely require 4 or more. Well worth the stop on the way through Qalia's low teens.

Lore

The humans, naturally, want the honey and royal jelly. Rather than gorging themselves on honey, the gnomes, unsurprisingly, seem more interested in gathering miscellaneous bee bits in order to study them. The bees just really want you to leave them alone.
