Sometimes referred to as "Fortress of Martok" or "Fortress of Gulgrethor".
Gulgrethor is a fantastic locale. Massive chains and thick stone walls surround an enormous smoking pit. The open air nature of the dungeon makes for easy sightlines for pulling and finding your way around when your on top of the wall but create an almost mazelike feel down on the ground. The symmetrical layout makes it easy to become disoriented. Keep an eye on your compass!
Named mobs have some uninteresting greens and blues but other mobs aren't itemized. Getting the final boss to actually make an appearance can require multiple clearings of the respawns in his room. The quest reward for doing so is not remotely worth the wait, however, he does a drop a Heroic necklace that will likely make Sorcerers want to put in the effort.
Mobs are thick and clustered on the ground with many wanderers. The ground level of the central tower is crowded and social making it very easy to get a massive pull that will likely leave your party face down in the dirt.
The quest line is interesting marred only by some relatively uninspired rewards.
Gulgrethor is definitely worth a visit. It's challenging and has great atmosphere and a fair bit of lore attached to it. Most groups won't finish the questline, however, due to the infrequent spawn of the final boss and the fact that his drop is something that only offensive casters are likely to be interested in.

Lore
The primary fortress of the Gulgrethor Clan of Orcs. The Gulgrethor are in a continual state of war with the Martok Orcs for control of northern Kojan. The Martok want to strike a decisive blow and tip the balance of power to finally win the war. The Gulgrethor have a similar idea but their plan is much, much darker...
