Self Tome of Rest of the Dead II drops in Graystone off of: High Guardian Auroc'Yor HIGH COMMANDER RAKH'YOR

This ability was held here three times over, under three names. The other two carried no wording of their own and each pointed at this one:

• “Feign Death II” (level 40) recorded its source as: “Upgrade to Feign Death 1. Cast time reduced to 1 second.; Tome of Rest of the Dead II drops at Greystone Dungeon in Beranid Hills off any of the boss mobs (writ or normal spawns throughout zone).”

• “Rest of the Dead II (lvl 40-42?)” recorded its source as: “Graystone: spellbook drop from Graystone "writ summoned nameds" or two regular nameds deep inside.”

A player who finished The Art Of Death confirms the Necromancer's fake-death line is called Rest of the Dead and that the class has no ability named Feign Death at all. The duplicates have been removed and what they knew is kept here. One of them put the level at 40 to 42 with a question mark, so the exact level of this rank is not certain.

Not read from the client. A player at level 50 has confirmed rank I; this rank drops as a tome and has not been seen.

This was wrongly set aside as missing from the VGO Emulator build. It is a learned ability, and a learned ability does not appear in the class spellbook until it has been learned — so a sweep of the spellbook cannot show that the build lacks it, only that this character has not got it yet. Rest of the Dead I settled the point: it was marked absent on that reasoning, and a player then finished The Art Of Death and read it off the client.

Three figures on this row came from The Telon Project and are not trustworthy, because that page's own fields are shifted: it gives the target as “Offensive” and then prints “Self” under Notes, where the target plainly belongs.

• The cast time read 10.0. That is a refresh value — rank I, read from the client, casts in 2.0 seconds and refreshes in 10.0. It has been cleared rather than moved, because nobody has seen this rank's actual cast time. • The target read Offensive. Corrected to Self: this spell fakes your own death, rank I is Self on the client, and the wiki's own Notes field says Self. • The energy cost of 36 is identical to rank I's, which would be unusual for a rank that is twenty levels higher. It is left as recorded but should not be relied on until somebody reads the tooltip.
