Paladin — Macro's

No, but paladinsoftelon.com had a lot of information that is no longer relevant, anyhow. Plus the colors were horrible. But a few of your members have been asking me about macros, and I've done as much as I can through tells, but sometimes it's just easier to write it out.

With that in mind…here are the macros I use:

For general smashing for a crit:

/can "Superior Gift of Peace"
/cast "Blood Oath III"
/we "(Name of Weapon here)"
/we "(Name of Shield here)"
/cast "Upbraid V"
/cast "Aegis Crush"
/cast "Guardian's Assault V"

If it is Undead/Fiendish:

/can "Superior Gift of Peace"
/cast "Blood Oath III"
/we "(Name of Weapon here)"
/we "(Name of Shield here)"
/cast "Upbraid V"
/cast "Aegis Crush"
/cast "Holy Strike VIII" (I think 8 is the highest)

For my first crit:

/cast "Zeal"
/cast "Marshalling Cry V"
/cast "Quickening Jolt"

For the Hammer/Maul of Valus crit chain, I used to use:

/wear "(Name of 2hander here)"
/cast "Upbraid V"
/reactionchain 1 (mine is on 1, yours may be different)

If you do this, I recommend you put the following commands in your Guardian's Assault / Holy Strike macros somewhere before Aegis Crush like I put in the above macros:

/we "(Name of Weapon here)"
/we "(Name of Shield here)"

For the Vol Anari crit chain:

/wear "(Name of 2hander here)"
/cast "Upbraid V"
/it "Book of Morfare"
/reactionchain 4 (mine was on 4)

The 'virtue burn'.

/cast "Righteous Intensity"
/cast "Marshalling Cry V"
/cast "Blood Oath III"
/cast "Quickening Jolt"

/it "Lesser Potion of Damage"

Note, you can put /cast "Fury of Valus" in that virtue burn macro to help you out if you don't crit well. I also have a version that has /cast "Paragon of Justice V" and /cast "Zeal" instead of Righteous Intensity. Sometimes Paragon of Justice is more useful.

And my offtanking to tanking stance macro:

/can "Superior Gift of Peace"
/can "Gift of Peace III"
/combatformset "Aura of Shielding"
/we "(Name of Weapon here)"
/we "(Name of Shield here)"
/cast "Shield of Resolve"
/wear "Informant's Presence of Tact" (Requires level 45 diplo)

Some of the more interesting things you can do, if you have the endurance to burn, is to add /assisto and /cast "Contrition III" in the Guardian Assault / Holy Strike macros, like so:

What this does is cast our mostly useless "non-forcing rescue" regularly, giving you a hate tick as often as it is up. It does cost 30 endurance, though. So if you have trouble with endurance, even with shield of resolve, you may not want to do this. This will fire off a hate tick regardless if you're MT or an OT. But, given the character limit, you have to reduce the /commands to their bare minimum. Depends on your weapons, really. You might have to ditch the /can "Superior Gift of Peace" and just remember to take that off before the fight.
