Part 1: The Gnolls

1. Making Your Way Into The Tomb

So you wish to tackle Dargun's Tomb and get yourself an epic weapon! Well you have come to the right place. The Quest Overview will show you how to make it to the entrance to Dargun's Tomb (Northern Highlands Riftway, take griffin one chunk north and one chunk east). When you get to the entrance you will find it littered with level 32-33 3dot Gnolls.

Fight your way through the entrance and down the first hallway, when you make it to the first opening, head into the right room. In here you will see a bunch of Dwarves offering up quests. The one dwarf you are looking for to start the weapon's quest is called Brutan Coldforge. Talk to him and accept his quest.

2. Slay Those Gnolls

Brutan explains that he was sent here by King Mithdor Flamehammer to recover artifacts that were lost many years ago. He was only sent here with a small team of dwarves, and though they are willing to fight, the swarms of gnolls are just too daunting a task. He asks that you help in ridding the place of the verminous gnolls by taking out 100 of them.

Wandering around the dungeon you will notice that the place is just swarming with gnolls. You should have no trouble finding 100 to take out. Any gnoll will count towards your 100, even the ones outside in the entrance area. The gnolls inside the Tomb can range from level 32 3dots to 36 4dots. There are also many named gnolls skattered throughout the tomb, seeking these out may help eleviate the grind. No matter which ones you take out, after the completion of this quest, head back to Brutan Coldforge for the next quest.
