Part 5 - Wardship Troubles
1. Locating Another Unicorn
Quest:
One Other Elf
Mattanien is happy with the news about the unicorns, and luckily has some information on one other. It seems that there is an elf that he knows by the name of
He is located in the chunk Wardship of the Sleeping Moon, inside of the outpost there. If you are high enough level you can port directly to the outpost using a riftway. If not then taking the riftway to Kaon's Rush, and then using the rented griffons one chunk to the east will work as well.
Enorian Andowyn
is located inside of the Wardship of the Sleeping Moon outpost and is inside the building in which you must use the stairs to go down into a basement type area. I believe he is a cleric instructor.
Unfortunately he will inform you that the Unicorns that lived around here are scattered throughout the marsh, and that he doesn't know the locations of all of them. He does, however, know the location of one by the name of
Delsyr
who lives north of the outpost in the chunk of the Vault of Heroes (he is marked on your map), and boy does he have lots of stuff for you to do.
2. Split into Three
Quest:
Retrieve our Lost Kin
You will notice when you start getting closer to
Delsyr
that his herd is surrounded by Bloodhowlers. Try not to kill too many as you will need to kill them later for the quest you haven't got yet. Find
Delsyr
and he will tell you that when the Bloodhowlers came, they decided to split their herd into three group to divide the Bloodhowler forces. He came north,
Nathefel
went east, and
Thanion
went south. Shortly after they all lost contact with each other.
Now your job is not only to help
Delsyr
but also
Nathefel
and
Thanion
(they are all located on your map). You know that
Delsyr
would like you to kill 42 of the Bloodhowlers, but don't! Not yet anyway, because
Nathefel
also would like you to kill them, and you might as well get Nathefel's quest before you start your slaughter. So head two chunks south and one chunk east to find him, located on an island in the northern part of the chunk called Thelaseen.
Nathefel
is also surrounded by Bloodhowlers, and would like you to take out 18 of the
Bloodhowler Sentinels
which are located just west of the island. The Sentinels are level 28-29 3dot mobs and with only needing to kill 18 of those, you should be in and out in no time. After you complete your task head back to
Nathefel
for the turn-in and make your way to
Thanion
Thanion
is located one chunk west, and one chunk south. He is perched on an island and seems to be surrounded by Troglodyte mobs. He is in trouble and needs you to help with the Troglodyte problem. He gives you a tip that if you steal their weapons after you kill them it would help with getting rid of them faster. He asks that you collect 30 Ropes from the
Fleshruin Restrainers
50 Daggers from the
Fleshruin Misconductors
and 20 Swords from the
Fleshruin Incarcerators
Luckily each time you kill a Misconductor, he drops 2 daggers instead of one, halfing the number of them you need to kill. They are all level 29 3dots and shouldn't cause a problem for you, just remember to loot the weapons!
Once you collect all the weapons, hand them to
Thanion
to complete the quest and then head on back to
Delsyr
When you get close to
Delsyr
you can start killing the rest of the Bloodhowlers you need, which are all around level 28-29 3dots. Kill the rest of the Bloodhowlers and return to
Delsyr
for the turn in. He will then direct you back to
Enorian Andowyn
to recieve a
Unicorn Follower
(not the mount!), which is just a unicorn that follows you, as well as a pair of new pants. You can choose from the following:
Allegiance Greaves
Allegiance Leggings
Allegiance Chain Greaves
Allegiance Scale Greaves
